On Januar 17 and 24, 2025, Melanie Hartmann conducted the last two-day professional development workshop for teacher educators on the use of social augmented reality with a focus on the needs of diverse learners as part of the WueDive pilot project “Virtual Environments” and the interdisciplinary project “ViLeArn_more”. The workshop took place at the Media Education and Educational Technology Lab (MEET@JMU).

On 21 November and 2 December 2024, two workshops on the topic of ‘AI in schools - perspectives from schools’ were successfully held at DigiMePäd, the teaching-learning laboratory of the ‘Media Education with References to Informatics’ network. The events were organised by the Chair of School Pedagogy and funded by the Competence Centre for Digital Teaching and Learning (DigiLLabs@JMU) as part of the 2024 funding round.
