News at the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education

Summer Term 2023

After an instructive winter term, we start the summer term 2023 with great anticipation.

We are happy to welcome Prof. Ramon Flecha (University of Barcelona, Spain) as a DAAD guest lecturer at the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education. He will teach several seminars in both the Bachelor's and Master's programs: "Contributions from Adult Education to Science and Society", "Dialogical Model of Living Together in Adult Education" and "Dialogical Gatherings of Adults". More information on the public lecture "How to promote and evaluate the social impact of our interventions?" will be announced separately on the homepage of the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education.

As in previous semesters, we kindly invite you to numerous guest lectures. The lectures will be announced on our website as soon as possible. They cover a wide range of topics and promise exciting insights into adult education and lifelong learning.

GSiK acknowledges most international events.

Bachelor and Master students as well as doctoral candidates again have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities and can apply for a scholarship. In addition, there is the possibility to apply for internships abroad at DVV International and its partner institutions in Georgia and the Palestinian Territories.
