Winter Term 2022/23

After another interesting summer term, we are excited about the upcoming winter term 2022/23.

We are pleased to welcome Prof.'in Dr.'in Aleksandra Pejatović (University of Belgrade, Serbia) to the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education as part of a DAAD guest lectureship. She will offer various seminars in both the Bachelor's and Master's programmes: "Quality and Evaluation in Adult Education", "Learning Needs of Adults - Individual, Occupational and Organizational Level", and "Contemporary Characteristics of the World of Work and Adult Education". She will also give a guest lecture on "Adult Learning in Life Crisis Situation". Further information on the events of our DAAD guest professor will be announced soon on our homepage.

In addition, we are pleased to welcome Antonia Rudingsdorfer and Julia Hömer again this term, who will be leading different parallel groups of the seminar "Aufgabenfelder und Institutionen lebenslangen Lernens". Prof. Dr. Dr. Heribert Hinzen (Former Director, DVV International, Honorary Fellow, UNESCO Institute of Lifelong Learning) also offers a parallel group of this seminar as a bilingual block seminar on "New developments for adult education and lifelong learning: global and local examples". In addition, we are happy to welcome Barbara Lampe, who will lead the seminar "Bildung, Beratung und Kompetenzentwicklung".

As in previous terms, we kindly invite you to numerous guest lectures. The lectures will be announced on our website as soon as possible. They cover a wide range of topics and promise exciting insights into adult education and lifelong learning.

GSiK acknowledges most international events.

Bachelor and Master students as well as doctoral candidates again have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities and can apply for a scholarship. In addition, there is the possibility to apply for internships abroad at DVV International and its partner institutions in Georgia and the Palestinian Territories. More information is available on "Studying Abroad".

We look forward to an instructive winter term 2022/23!

Best regards,
Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education
