News at the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education

Summer Term 2025

After another exciting winter term, we are looking forward to the upcoming summer term 2025.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pejatrović (University of Belgrade, Serbia) to the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education as part of a DAAD guest lectureship. She will hold a block seminar on the topic of “Competencies and competences oriented education” in the Bachelor's degree program.

We also invite you to numerous guest and practical lectures this semester. You can find all current events on our website or on Instagram as soon as the dates are fixed. As in previous semesters, they promise an exciting insight into adult education and lifelong learning and cover a wide range of topics.

Most of the international events can be recognized for the GSiK certificate.

Among other things, the network meeting and summer party of the Chair of Adult Education/Continuing Education will take place again this semester. On July 2 from 3:30-6 p.m. we would like to welcome you to the Library and Seminar Center (Josef-Martin-Weg 64, 97074 Würzburg), room 00.212.

We are now looking forward to the fourth semester of our Double Degree Master's program. We wish the students an exciting stay at our partner university in Padua this semester.

Bachelor's and Master's students as well as doctoral candidates also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities and can apply for a scholarship to do so. There is also the opportunity to complete internships abroad at DVV International and its partner institutions in Georgia. Further information can be found under "Study and internship abroad".
