Presentation of Research Results at the CoTeach Closing Conference

11/04/2023

A team from the chair of school pedagogy presented a concept for professional development of teacher educators with use of Social Virtual Reality at the closing conference of the CoTeach project. This project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

With regards to central intercultural competency areas, positive developments were identified with the teacher educators participating in the study. This is a key outcome of the empirical study evaluating the effectiveness of the professional development concept for teacher educators using social VR.

On behalf of the three research teams from the chair of school pedagogy, the chair of Human-Computer-Interaction and the professorship for the psychology of intelligent interactive systems, Kristina Förster presented the research findings from three years of collaboration in the context of the CoTeach project, funded by the BMBF.
