Announcement Guest Professorship Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pejatović during the winter term 2022/2023

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pejatović (University of Belgrade, Serbia) will be staying at the Professorship for Adult und Continuing Education at JMU during the winter term 2022/2023.

As head of the "Chair of Andragogy", Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pejatović held one of the oldest and most renowned chairs for Adult and Continuing Education at a European university for many years. With her research interest in issues of competence and professional development, quality management and evaluation in adult and continuing education, her extensive knowledge will benefit students and staff alike. With her many years of experience in (international) teaching, we are pleased that Prof. Pejatović will share her vast expertise with us in the upcoming semester.

During her stay Prof. Pejatović will offer three #wuehybrid SEMINARS and one PUBLIC LECTURE. Thematically, the courses include an exploration of “Quality and Evaluation in Adult Education”, the opportunity to dive deeper into “Learning Needs of Adults – Individual, Occupational and Organizational Level” and the possibility to get to know “Contemporary Characteristics of the World of Work and Adult Education”. The public lecture “Adult Learning in Life Crisis Situation“ will be announced separately on the homepage of the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education.

Prof. Dr. Regina Egetenmeyer and her team are glad to be able to offer such an enriching program due to friendly support of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) with funding from the BMBF (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
