Presentation of Research Findings at the SITE 2024 Conference
03/26/2024In March, 2024, a team from the Chair of School Pedagogy presented results from research projects at this year's international conference of the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) in Las Vegas. The research was conducted also within the projects “ViLeArn_more” and “WueDive”.
In three presentations, Melanie Hartmann, Antonia Halsch and Tamara Baumann presented results and conclusions from empirical studies.
In the studies, perspectives of diversity and of transculturality were researched in connection with media pedagogical questions. In this context, the potential of social variants of the Mixed Reality-spectrum for teaching and learning processes was discussed.
As evident in the results and also in the subsequent discussion with the international audience, the advancement of media pedagogical competencies of higher education lecturers and of preservice teachers is a relevant research desideratum. The team of our chair will work on this topic in future studies.
