Additional qualification offers

"Global Systems and Intercultural Competence" (GSiK) offers you the opportunity to give yourself an additional profile that is extremely attractive for the job market. The interdisciplinary teaching offer includes seminars, workshops as well as lectures around the topics of Intelcultural Competence and Globalization. Within the framework of the project, it is also possible to acquire a certificate.

Following the master's degree, there is the possibility of a doctorate within the framework of the Würzburg Graduate School. Its aim is to support particularly qualified doctoral candidates with intensive supervision by an individual, three-member doctoral committee, and by providing additional specialist and non-specialist qualifications in such a way that a doctorate can be completed in three years.

The "Research Center for Historical Visual Media" at the University of Würzburg is under the direction of Dr. Ina Katharina Uphoff at the Chair of Philosophy of Education. The Würzburg research center owns Europe's largest collection of school murals and the world's most comprehensive special database of historical visual media.

The Career Centre team offers support with decision-making processes between bachelor, master, state examination and PhD degrees, and provides students with a variety of over 50 courses and lectures for profile development each semester. Our consulting sessions regarding the application process take place in various formats - upon request also in your faculty.
