Welcome to Prof. Dr. Francesca Bracci!

04/12/2022

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Francesca Bracci (University of Florenz, Italy) will stay at the Professorship for Adult and Continuing Education at JMU during the summer term 2022.

Francesca Bracci is an Associate Professor of Didactics and Special Pedagogy at the FORLILPSI Department since 2020 and worked as a researcher at the University of Valle d’Aosta, Gabriele D’Annunio University of Chieti and Pescara, the Catholic University of Scared Heart in Milan and the European University of Rome. There she was and is involved in serval research groups in national and international collaborations. Her distinctive wealth of experience of different teaching-learning settings will broaden students' horizons for learning processes, which is why we are very pleased to welcome her to the professorship.

Prof. Francesca Bracci will offer three seminars with the topics “Research on learning in organization”, “Education/Training methods for adults in formal and non-formal contexts” and “Qualitative research methods in organization”. Furthermore, there will be a public lecture providing access for anyone interested in her subject areas. In addition, we are excited that we will again be able to offer a hybrid one-day workshop on June 17th 2022 on the topic of “Practical Creativity, Transformative Learning and Professional Development” with different experts from all over the world. More information will soon be available on our website.

Prof. Dr. Regina Egetenmeyer and her team are glad to be able to offer such an enriching program due to the kind support of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) with funding from the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
